Getting started

What is Recapp?

A sports app built around video. Highlights, game recaps, breaking news and the stories worth watching — pulled into one feed instead of scattered across a dozen apps and social accounts.

Is Recapp free?

Yes. Download and watch for free. Recapp Pro is an optional paid tier at $4.99 a month or $49.99 a year.

Do I need cable to watch sports highlights?

No. Recapp is a highlights and stories app — no cable provider to log in with, no regional blackouts, nothing to authenticate before you can watch.

Can I watch sports news instead of reading it?

That is the whole idea. Breaking news, trades, injuries and the arguments around them arrive as video, not paragraphs — so catching up on the day takes the length of a few clips rather than a scroll through six articles.

Is there an Android version?

Yes. Recapp is on both the App Store and Google Play, with the same feed on each.

Which devices does it run on?

iPhone on iOS 17 or later, and Android. There is no dedicated iPad or desktop app yet — it is among the most requested things in our reviews, and we want it too.

Sports and coverage

Where can I watch NFL highlights for free?

On Recapp, free and without a cable login. NFL highlights, game recaps and the reaction land through the day, and the same goes for the NBA, MLB, NHL, WNBA, MLS, UFC and college.

Is there one app with highlights from every sport?

That is what Recapp is for. Nine leagues in a single feed, so following the NFL and the NBA and your college team does not mean three apps, three notification settings and three places to check.

How do I catch up on a game I missed?

Open the app and the game is already there — clips land through the game and the recap follows shortly after the final whistle, arranged as a story you can watch start to finish rather than a pile of loose clips.

Where do people find the sports clips everyone is talking about?

Usually scattered across X, Reddit, TikTok and a group chat. Recapp collects them: the hot takes, the arguments, the moment that got screenshotted 40,000 times, next to the highlight that started it.

Which leagues does it cover?

NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, WNBA, MLS, UFC, college football & basketball and EPL — with box scores, standings and lineups alongside the video.

Can I follow specific teams?

Yes. Follow any teams and leagues you care about and the For You feed is built around them. You can change who you follow at any time.

Which college teams are included?

College football covers the ACC, Big 12, Big Ten and SEC. College basketball adds the Big East. More schools and conferences are being added.

Does Recapp show live games?

No — Recapp is not a live streaming service. You get live scores and stats as games happen, then the highlights, recaps and reaction once there is something worth watching.

How soon after a game are highlights up?

Clips land through the game and the recap follows shortly after the final whistle, so a game you missed is usually waiting for you by the time you open the app. Enable notifications to get a push when clips are available.

Where does the video come from?

Our editors curate from official league and broadcaster channels alongside the best of what is circulating socially, then arrange it into a story you can actually follow rather than a pile of clips.

Recapp Pro

What does Recapp Pro cost?

$2.99 a week, $4.99 a month, or $49.99 a year. The annual plan is the cheapest per month.

What do I get with Pro?

Pro removes the ads between clips so the feed runs uninterrupted. Everything else — every league, every highlight, scores and stats — is in the free app.

How do I cancel?

Through your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep Pro until the current period ends.

I paid but Pro is not showing up

Restoring purchases from the app's settings usually sorts it. If it does not, email fans@recapp.co with the store you bought through and we will fix it.

Using the app

Do I need to an account?

No. No signups, no logins, just select your followed teams, enable notifications and Recapp handles the rest.

Something is broken. How do I report it?

Email fans@recapp.co and tell us what happened — we read everything, and a good chunk of what ships each release comes straight out of those messages. You can see us replying in the App Store reviews.

Still deciding?

It is free to download and there is nothing to sign up for before you can watch.

Ready to have some serious fun?

Pick your teams, and Recapp handles the rest — every highlight, every score, every story worth watching, in one feed.
