Headlights Inc. (“Headlights”, “we”, “us” or “our”) privacy policy describes the collection and use of personal or confidential information that may be collected while using the Headlights app (“App”) and any related services provided by us in connection with our App (“Services”). Headlights is committed to safeguarding any personal or confidential information that may be collected by us through our Services and to ensuring that our users (“you”, “yours”) are fully informed as to how such information will be used. The following policy describes such collection and usage. 

INFORMATION YOU MAY PROVIDE US AND HOW WE COLLECT IT

First, we may actively ask you to provide personal information as part of providing you with requested Services or when corresponding with you. For example, when you contact us with questions, comments or for purposes of customer/technical support, we collect the information contained in your message, which may include contact information and any other personal information you provide.

In addition, we may collect contact information through surveys we may conduct from time to time in respect of the Services.

Participation and providing information in surveys is optional. In addition, in order to provide the Services, we may use third party tools and analyzers (whether through the App or otherwise) to track and collect anonymized, aggregated and statistical information generated from the use of the App and Services.

We may create anonymized, aggregated and statistical information from personal information you provide us through the App or Services in order to further develop, customize and improve our App based on user preferences, experiences and difficulties.

Your use of our App and Services are purely voluntary by you. You understand and agree that you have no legal obligation to provide us with any information, and the provision of it is solely based on your free will.

WHAT WE DO OR MIGHT DO WITH THE INFORMATION COLLECTED

We may evaluate, retain and use the information provided to us and the data generated from users to:

  • Collect and store it for your continued use of the Services;

  • Monitor and analyze your use of the Service and, if required, for the technical administration and troubleshooting of the Service and/or the App;

  • Personalize your experience with the Services, and to better understand your needs both on an aggregated and individualized basis in order to improve our Service(s);

  • Provide you Service announcements and further administrative information regarding your progress;

  • Contact you from time to time with critical user or service updates or other information important to support the Services. We may contact you to ensure that the information we have in our records is accurate or when in need of additional information to complete your profile;

  • Receive feedback and comments from you about our Services and inquire about any features you would like to see in future offerings. We may also contact you to ask for your satisfaction rate, inform you of technical issues, or offer you upgrades, promotions and additional products that you may be interested in;

  • Send out newsletters to you;

  • Provide, customize, measure and improve our Services, content, marketing and advertising;

  • Develop new services;

  • Process your payment through authorized and secure third-party billing operators (if applicable);

  • Assist us for our own internal statistical and analytical purposes; 

  • Prevent activity we determine to be potentially illegal; and

  • Enforce this Privacy Policy and/or our Terms or any other purpose referenced herein or therein.

DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION

We will not use your personal information for any purposes, other than those outlined in this Privacy Policy and/or in our Terms, unless we have your consent. We will not share your personal information with any other third parties without your permission, unless:

(a) We are required to do so by law or when necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on Communiteer, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure of information is necessary to prevent imminent physical harm, financial loss or to report suspected illegal activity. In all cases, such information will only be disclosed in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

(b) In the event of a proposed or actual sale, merger, liquidation, dissolution, reorganization or acquisition of all or part our company or its assets, so long we give affected users notice before personally identifiable information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

LINKS AND THIRD PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS

We may offer links from our App to other websites which may be hosted by our partners, or by unrelated companies. Such websites are not governed by this Privacy Policy and Headlights makes no representation as to their practices for dealing with your personal information. Therefore, if you visit such third party sites following such referral, or use the related services of such parties, we recommend that you check their privacy policy prior to any use.

SECURING THE INFORMATION AND RETENTION

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to guard against unauthorized or unlawful processing of the information collected and against accidental loss or destruction of, or damage to, your personal data.

Despite our efforts, bear in mind that we cannot completely guarantee the security of all information collected as additional external factors, such as hardware or software failure, misuse and loss of user credentials, may compromise such security. 

We may retain the information for as long as necessary to support the collection and the use purposes under this Policy and for other legitimate business purposes, unless retention is reasonably necessary to comply with our legal obligations, meet regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, or prevent fraud and abuse. We may store aggregated non-personal information without time limit.

We may store or process your information on servers located outside of your country.

CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may change the terms of this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will reflect any privacy policy changes on this page. If a change in terms would reduce any protection with respect to information previously collected by us, then such information will continue to be dealt with in accordance with such protection that was contained in our policy that was in effect at the time of collection.

CHILDREN

The App and Services are intended for a general, adult audience. We do not knowingly collect Personally Identifiable Information from minors aged 18 or younger. If a parent and/or legal guardian become aware that his or her child has provided Us with Personally Identifiable Information without their consent, he or she should contact us at fans@recapp.co.

ACCEPTANCE OF OUR PRIVACY POLICY

By using our Services you are consenting to the practices relating to information collection and use that are described in this privacy policy.

You have the right to review your Personal Information that we process and may have rights, under applicable law, to request the update, amendment, and deletion of Personal Information which is incomplete or outdated or exercise other rights under applicable law depending on your jurisdiction, by contacting us at: fans@recapp.co. We will act in accordance with the applicable law, in order to comply with your request. 

We may retain certain Personal Information as deemed required by us in accordance with applicable laws, or for legitimate business reasons, for the duration as required under the applicable laws. In addition, we may delete any Personal Information pursuant to our policies, as in effect from time to time.
